Looking at this reality we call life, it is shocking to see the aggression, the manipulation and control, and the belief systems that have been thrusted upon not only humans, but the natural world. Our reality has been questioned, philosophized, and debated since ancient times and as of today some of the most important questions are still not answered. No one truly knowns why we are here, who or what created this place, or what happens next. There are many theories, ideas, and beliefs but none of them can be said to be truth.

There are many people who have done extensive research about the possibility of deception after death.  They have found familiar themes such as the tunnel of light, alien gods, and shapeshifting entities, as well as tricksters posing as familiar relatives, helping spirits, or gods, all offering council or guidance to people who had just transitioned. Some of these researchers have had personal experiences and some just simply question rather than blindly follow a narrative.

We are here to explore the possibility of deception after death. The recorded sessions on this site are intended to help you practice discernment here and now so that you are prepared for your final transition.

All spiritual and religious texts are merely an accumulation of stories believed to be a revelation of a god or supreme being. They are all based on the interpretations of the ones writing them down. Myths and legends are also woven into the fabric of this realty. All of these scriptures and stories have shaped civilizations, justified hierarchies, built identities (personal and national) and at the same time, they have been used to exclude, oppress and manipulate humanity.

Remember everything is up for interpretation. In the wise words of Richard Willet, do your own research and come to your own conclusion. Make space for facts and truth and practice discernment so that you can decide your own fate in this life, and beyond.

This is a short list to get you started. There are many more resources found in the Resource Guide.

For the benefit of All!

4500-1750 BCE - Sumerian - Anunnaki

Before the Greeks exalted Zeus or the Egyptians praised Osiris, the Sumerians worshipped the Anunnaki. These ancient gods of Mesopotamia had wings, wore horned caps, and possessed the ability to control all of humanity. Sumerians revered the Anunnaki as heavenly beings who shaped the destiny of their society. The Sumerians lived in Mesopotamia — present-day Iraq and Iran — between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Note: The Anunnaki are a group of ancient Mesopotamian deities associated with the Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians, and Babylonians, believed to be descendants of the sky god An and the earth goddess Ki. Their primary role was to decree the fates of humanity.

Question: Why are myths and legends considered to be false? If myths were a way of making sense of the most fundamental questions of life, where did the people of the time get their information to create the stories?

1500 BCE - Hinduism

Many of the gods of Hindu mythology are known for being shape shifters, as well as having multiple avatars. Rakshasas are an ancient race of supernatural beings that appear prominently in Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions. They are believed to have been created by Brahma, the Hindu god of creation, and were originally tasked with protecting the earth. However, according to legend, many Rakshasas became corrupt and evil, leading them to be associated with demonic tendencies.

Note: The Beatles played a big role in introducing Hinduism and Indian culture to the west.

6th Century BCE - Zoroastrianism,

Zoroastrianism is one of the world's oldest organized religions. It is said to have been founded by Zoroaster in the 6th century BCE in ancient Persia (modern-day Iran). Among the world's oldest organized faiths, its adherents exalt an uncreated, benevolent, and all-wise deity known as Ahura Mazda, who is hailed as the supreme being of the universe. Ahriman is the evil spirit in Zoroastrianism, representing chaos and destruction. He embodies the principle of evil and is often associated with lies and deceit.

Note: Many ancient scriptures including the Gathas from Zoroastrianism, the Rig Veda of the ancient Yoga scriptures, and the Homeric Hymns of the Greek pantheon, to name a few, were written as songs of praise.

Question: A commonly circulated (though unverified) claim is that Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda, promoted 440Hz to create agitation and fear in listeners and interfere with human consciousness. Why did the mainstream music industry of today change the frequency that music is recorded from 432Hz to 440Hz?

6th Century BCE - Buddhism and the Tibetan Book of the Dead

Mara, Lord of the Illusion in Buddhism, refers to any form of malicious force hindering enlightenment. Buddist stories often depict Mara as a shapeshifter to seduce, distract, hinder, humanity.

Note: The Tibetan Book of the Dead was first translated by American anthropologist Walter Evans-Wentz in 1927. The book’s philosophy of death and rebirth as spiritual practice was adapted in 1964 by Timothy Leary, the founder of psychedelic studies. Actor Richard Gere narrated the audio version of the book in 2008, helping introduce it to a broad audience.

Question: Why would Timothy Leary adapt a spiritual text (according to his interpretation and agenda) and then push it out to the public via a "celebrity"?

5th Century BCE - Judaism

The story of Yom Kippur, Satan appeared as a pauper who came and to a door, requesting alms(charity).

Note: The Torah and the Bible are typically viewed as the same book. When Christianity was created, it was exclusively composed of Jews in Palestine.

1st Century CE - the Bible

The Bible describes an unseen realm of spiritual beings—both good and evil—that interact with the physical world.

There are also many accounts of deception and trickery by demons, as well as angels. In the Old Testament, there are references to supernatural beings such as angels appearing in human form. In the book of Genesis, for example, angels visit Abraham and Sarah in the form of men. Similarly, in the book of Daniel, the prophet encounters angelic beings who appear in various forms, including that of a man.

Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Matthew 7:15 - Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

John 4:1 - Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

IICorinthians 10:3 - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

IICorinthians 11:14 - And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light

Genesis 3:1 - Satan appearing to Adam and Eve in the form of a serpent in the Garden of Eden

Acts 16:16-18 - “Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune telling. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, ‘These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.’ She kept this up for many days. Finally, Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, ‘In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to come out of her!’ At that moment, the spirit left her.”

Note: There are over 450 known translations of the bible in English alone. In 1604, King James commissioned a new translation of the Bible in order to consolidate his power in England.

Question: Who gave authority to the ones who translated, transcribed or adapted so called religious scripture?

1&2 Century CE - Gnosticism - The Nag Hammadi Library

In 1945, in Nag Hammadi Egypt, a sealed jar was found containing 13 leather bound documents that told of beliefs and perceptions of a people called the Gnostics. The Gnostics ran the great library of Alexandria which contained 1/2 million scrolls with information and beliefs of the ancient world, until it was destroyed by the Roman church.

"After the natural structure of the immortal beings had completely developed out of the infinite, a likeness then emanated from Pistis (Faith); it is called Sophia (Wisdom). It exercised volition and became a product resembling the primeval light. And immediately her will manifested itself as a likeness of heaven, having an unimaginable magnitude; it was between the immortal beings and those things that came into being after them, like she (Sophia) functioned as a veil dividing mankind from the things above. Now the eternal realm

(aeon) of truth has no shadow outside it, for the limitless light is everywhere within it. But its exterior is shadow, which has been called by the name darkness."

Archons, in Gnosticism and religions closely related to it, are the builders of the physical universe. Among the Archontics, Ophites, Sethians and in the writings of Nag Hammadi library, the archons are rulers, each related to one of seven planets; they prevent souls from leaving the material realm.

Note: According to Gnostic texts, the soul must descend past the archons after death. Each one attempting to interrogate or insnare it. Only through gnosis, direct experiential knowledge of the divine, can the soul see through their illusions and ascend beyond them.

Question: Why would any religious or spiritual scriptures, or mythology, describe deception after death if there wasn't some evidence of it? (please note, this is not saying there is evidence, just wondering where the information came from - how people got the idea of it )

610 CE - Islam

Shaytan, or Iblis, is depicted in the Quran as disguising his true intentions and misleading humans by presenting himself as a sincere counselor.

Jinn, also known as djinn or genies, are supernatural beings in ancient Arabian religion and Islam, believed to have a role in the unseen world. They are said to have the ability to whisper evil thoughts and encourage humans to sin.

Note: It has been acknowledged in Islamic tradition that Jinn are able to possess and control a human's body.

Question: Does your belief in an entity or being - such as a god or an evil spirit - give that entity consent to govern you and make decisions for you? What if you decided to stop believing, what would happen? What would you do?

Zulu - Legend/Mythology of the Chitauri

According to the Zulu “Sanasi”, Credo Mutwa of South Africa, the Chitauri descended from huge ships and had the appearance of reptiles. A race of reptilian sky-beings who shapeshift into human form, gave humanity speech, and rule it from behind the throne.

The Chitauri are believed to be the hidden masters of the modern world, the “Talkers” who fractured a once-united humanity into tribes and nations they could control.

They are said to have engineered and enslaved humanity to mine gold, then installed themselves as gods and kings. They keep their grip by staying unseen, ruling through division, fear, and the worship of false deities.

Note: One of the most remarkable revelations is the claim that language was a gift from the Chitauri to humanity. However, this "gift" had the purpose of dividing people and weakening their mental abilities.

Question: Why do many words, in all languages, have multiple meanings or similar definitions?

NDEs (Near Death Experiences) & OBEs (Out-of-Body Experiences)

There is much information about NDEs and researchers have dug through thousands of accounts and found many events where people have claimed to experience a light tunnel illusion, shape-shifting beings and a controlled reality.

Note: The tunnel of light phenomenon came from reports of near death experiences. It is not known to be in any religious or spiritual texts (that have been found).

Question: If the purpose of reincarnation is to undergo spiritual growth, learn lessons and pay off karmic debt, why can we not remember previous incarnations that may help our evolution?

Shamanism

Shamanism, one of the oldest spiritual practices in the world and is characterized by the belief in an unseen world of spirits that can be accessed through altered states of consciousness. In shamanic traditions, you'll find that evil spirits like Akuras feed on negative emotions and cause spiritual disruption.

From The Active Side of Infinity by Carlos Castaneda

“We have a predator that came from the depths of the cosmos and took over the rule of our lives. Human beings are its prisoners. The Predator is our lord and master. It has rendered us docile, helpless. If we want to protest, it suppresses our protest. If we want to act independently, it demands that we don’t do so… I have been beating around the bush all this time, insinuating to you that something is holding us prisoner. Indeed we are held prisoner!" - Don Juan Matus, Yaqui Shaman/Sorcerer

Note: Carlos Castaneda was a Peruvian-American writer, trained as an anthropologist. Starting in 1968, Castaneda published a series of books that describe training in shamanism that he received under the tutelage of a Yaqui Shaman named Don Juan Matus. In his book, The Eagle's Gift, Carlos Castaneda refers to recapitulation which is a process of finishing, finalizing and severing connections to the past in order to eliminate emotional charges that may be causing misperception of reality.

Question: If someone were to meet you at your time of death (whether that person/being is familiar or not), how do you know you can trust that the person or being is who they say they are?
